As a professional musician and qualified music educator, I bring together real-world performance experience and professional teaching expertise. Since 2015, I have worked as a professional session musician, touring and performing alongside a variety of artists across the UK and Europe. I hold a degree from the British Institute of Modern Music, followed by a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE in Secondary Music Education, teaching music in secondary schools across West London.  I am passionate about bringing the energy and authenticity of the professional music industry into my teaching, whether I am working with students in a school, in their own home or online.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to perform at some of the UK’s most iconic venues and festivals, including the London Palladium, Glastonbury Festival, Ealing Comedy Festival, the Empire and many other professional events, as well as appearing on live television broadcasts including BBC’s Comic Relief, Channel 4's Friday Night Live.

Alongside my session work, I am a drummer and vocalist with Nova Function Band, regularly performing at weddings, corporate events and private functions. All of these experiences have given me a deep understanding of the discipline, preparation, creativity, teamwork and professionalism required to succeed as a musician — knowledge that I believe makes me a more informed and inspiring teacher.
